Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 Update – New CV Truck & Commercial Vehicle Innovations
Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 introduces important new developments for commercial vehicle diagnostics, expanding vehicle coverage, diagnostic capabilities, technical information, and advanced functions for trucks, buses, trailers, and light commercial vehicles.
The new version includes developments for many major commercial vehicle manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz, MAN, IVECO, Volvo, Scania, DAF, Isuzu, Hino, Mitsubishi Fuso, Renault, Volkswagen, and several Asian truck manufacturers.

What’s New in Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2?
Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 expands both vehicle and system coverage.

These additions provide workshops with expanded diagnostic possibilities across European and Asian commercial vehicle fleets.
Mercedes-Benz Diagnostics Updates
Jaltest 26.2 introduces additional coverage for Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles.
The Mercedes-Benz Atego 5 (967), from 2024 onwards, is included among the new models supported in this release.
Jaltest has also introduced coverage related to new electronic safety systems required with GSR Level 1 regulations, including short-range radar systems:
- SRR-FL – Short-range radar, front left
- SRR-FR – Short-range radar, front right
- SRR-L – Short-range radar, left side
- SRR-R – Short-range radar, right side
Jaltest Central Services functions are also available for control unit programming of ASA and SAS systems in supported 4-technology models.
For Mercedes-Benz light commercial electric vehicles, new battery management systems are available for eVito (447) and eSprinter (907/910), including AC Charger (SG-LG) and BMS drive-battery management systems.
IVECO Diagnostics & SGW Updates
One of the important developments in Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 concerns IVECO vehicles equipped with Secure Gateway technology.
Jaltest has updated SGW module unlocking for 2024 models and later, improving access to these vehicles through authenticated diagnostics.
An active SGW IVECO licence is required for this functionality.
Jaltest continues to incorporate technical information for the latest IVECO 2024 models, including electronic communication architecture and fuse and relay information for Eurocargo Euro 6-E models.
For IVECO Daily MY24 light commercial vehicles, Jaltest Central Services also provides a maintenance reset function.
MAN Truck Diagnostics Updates
Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 expands diagnostic functionality for MAN commercial vehicles.
New developments include BKRHEC and BKRInter Bader climate control systems.
Jaltest Central Services functions are also available for MAN TG3 Series vehicles, including:
- Maintenance reset
- RIO2 control unit programming
These advanced functions provide workshops with additional capabilities for servicing and configuring modern MAN trucks.
Volvo Truck Diagnostics Updates
Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 introduces important developments for Volvo trucks using V3 and V4 technologies.
For Volvo V4 technology vehicles, new functions include:
- EHRAS rear steering axle controller
- VMCU central computer parameters
For V3 technology vehicles, Jaltest has added maintenance functionality relating to AdBlue/DEF metering system data through the EMS engine control system.
For FE E V3 and FL E V3 electric trucks from 2023 onwards, suspension air spring pressure configuration is available through the PCM electric powertrain controller.
Jaltest Central Services also provides relevant functions for Volvo Euro 6 vehicles, including:
- Suspension calibration
- Injector coding
- Maintenance reset
- Steering angle sensor calibration
- Control unit programming
Examples include EAS system programming on V3 technology vehicles and radar safety system programming on V4 technology vehicles.
Scania Diagnostics Updates
Jaltest 26.2 includes new developments for Scania truck models from 2024 onwards.
Jaltest Central Services provides control unit programming functions for supported systems including:
- COO8
- DCS
- ELC
This expands Jaltest’s capabilities for workshops working with the latest generation of Scania trucks.
DAF Truck Diagnostics Updates
For DAF trucks, Jaltest 26.2 includes electronic communication architecture for several LATAM-market models, including XF105, CF85, CF GR, XF MX-13, CF MX-13 and CF PX-7.
The update also includes developments for PCI-2 and ECS-4/ECS-6 systems, with additional troubleshooting information for fault codes including P2BDB, P1B9A and P1B9B.
Jaltest Central Services functionality is available for PCI-2 engine control unit programming on supported applications. This functionality may require a SERMI certificate.
EPB parking brake control system coverage is also included.
Isuzu Diagnostics Updates
Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 significantly expands Isuzu coverage.
For the F Series/FORWARD from 2023 onwards with the 4HK1 engine, functions include:
- EGR valve calibration
- Diesel Particulate Filter regeneration
- Cylinder cut-out
Additional developments include ABS maintenance and calibration functions for N Series/ELF vehicles, advanced functions for the DCU exhaust gas aftertreatment system, Mimamori operation data, OIC maintenance functions and face-recognition configuration, and HVAC maintenance functions and checks.
Hino Diagnostics Updates
The Jaltest 26.2 update introduces additional Hino systems and diagnostic capabilities.
New developments include systems such as:
- ELC lighting system
- EDC N04C engine control system
- DMS 1.0 and DMS 2.0 driver monitoring cameras
- TCM transmission
- ECS air suspension
- SCU steering control
Dynamic loading of actions and measurements has also been developed for the ECS suspension control system on supported Ranger 500/Profia 700 and bus models.
Mitsubishi Fuso Diagnostics Updates
Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 provides extensive developments for Mitsubishi Fuso trucks and buses.
Functions include radar parameter modification, cylinder cut-out, vehicle configuration modification, injector coding and various parameter configuration capabilities.
Supported systems include RDF radar, MCM engine control, VRDU driver assistance, EDC 6M60, ASAM cab control and CPC 5 powertrain control.
For the CPC 5 system, functions include speed limit modification and parameters related to PTO, retarder and idle speed increase on supported vehicles.
Trailer Diagnostics – WABCO/ZF & Knorr-Bremse
Jaltest 26.2 also introduces developments for trailer diagnostic systems.
For WABCO/ZF, the iEBS braking system includes CAN 5V connection and calibration functions.
For Knorr-Bremse systems, developments include adjustments related to Regulation R156, TIM G2 software updates and improvements to TEBS G2 and iTEBS X braking systems.
Additional Knorr-Bremse developments include improved ELC5 suspension calibration, ABS/EBS system configuration information, EBS5 system checks, GSBC coverage improvements and new iAPU replacement scenarios.
Cummins, Weichai & ZF Developments
The Jaltest 26.2 update also expands manufacturer-level coverage.
Cummins 2025–2026 engines include advanced diagnostic functions.
For Weichai, EMS OH6 and WISE 13J engine control systems are available for several Euro 4/5 applications, together with ECM Euro 3 engine control coverage.
For ZF TraXon transmissions, gear shift activation is available.
Jaltest Central Services – Easier Access
Since May 2026, Jaltest software includes a shortcut that allows users to request and subscribe to Jaltest Central Services directly from the software.
When a function requires JCS, Jaltest guides the user through the subscription process, including acceptance of the service terms, service request, contact details and confirmation.
The Jaltest ATS team can then contact the user to arrange the required service.
