Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 Marine – New Marine & Vessel Diagnostic Innovations
Jaltest Diagnostics 26.2 introduces important new developments for marine diagnostics, expanding diagnostic capabilities for inboard engines, outboard engines and personal watercraft (Jet Ski).
The new version provides additional advanced diagnostic functions, calibrations, maintenance procedures, technical information, wiring diagrams and expanded electronic system coverage for leading marine manufacturers.
Inboard Marine Diagnostic Innovations
Jaltest Marine 26.2 introduces several important developments for inboard marine engines and propulsion systems.
For Caterpillar, new technical data, maintenance services and component location information have been incorporated into the ECM engine control system of the 3512 model.
Mercury MerCruiser Advanced Diagnostics
A significant part of the 26.2 update focuses on Mercury MerCruiser.
The ECM 555 G3 and PCM 555 G3 systems receive new advanced diagnostic functions, including:
- Trim sensor calibration
- Maximum trim position calibration
- Engine location configuration
- Tachograph parameter
- Fuel pump activation
Coverage includes the ECM-555 G3 system on the 383 MAG Stroker and PCM-555 G3 on the 240 EFI model.
Mercury Racing & Rotax
For Mercury Racing, Jaltest Marine 26.2 expands PCM-555 G3 system coverage to models including 1075 SCi, 525 EFI, 662SCi and 850 SCi.
For Rotax, new software variants of the ECM engine control system have been introduced, including applications used by vessel manufacturers such as Williams.
Volvo Penta Diagnostics
Jaltest Marine 26.2 also introduces important improvements for Volvo Penta.
The PCU powertrain control system receives a maintenance reset function across several models.
New Volvo Penta configuration data also provides information about the technology installed in the vessel. This functionality is available across many systems in the D Series, IPS and Volvo Penta Gasoline ranges.
Yanmar Marine Diagnostics
For Yanmar, the VC20 control panel receives advanced diagnostic functions including:
- Key coding
- Fuel tank calibration
- Trim position calibration
- Maintenance reset
Technical data and maintenance services are also available for 4JH45, 4JH57, 4JH80 and 4JH110 engine models.
Outboard Engine Diagnostic Innovations
The 26.2 update also expands Jaltest’s diagnostic capabilities for outboard engines.
For Honda, new software variants of the ECM PGM-FI engine control system have been added for new models, together with fuse and relay diagrams across numerous applications.
Mariner & Mercury Outboard
For Mariner, the ECM 555 G3 system receives advanced functions including trim sensor calibration, maximum trim position calibration, engine location configuration, tachograph parameters and fuel pump activation.
For Mercury, new software variants have been introduced for:
PCM-128 G3 and PCM-196 G3 – V10 and V12 models
PCM-112 – V6 and V8 models
Additional advanced diagnostic functions are also available for ECM 555 G3 and PCM 555 G3 systems.
Tohatsu Diagnostics
For Tohatsu, new ECM PGM-FI software variants have been added for the BFT model family.
Jaltest Marine 26.2 also adds fuse and relay diagrams and fault-code-based troubleshooting guides for MFS 25C, MFS 30C, MFS 25D and MFS 30D models.
Additional wiring diagram configurations, technical data and component location images are available for the ECM system of MFS 25C and MFS 30C models.
Jet Ski – Sea-Doo & Yamaha Diagnostics
Jaltest Marine 26.2 also expands coverage for personal watercraft.
For Sea-Doo (BRP), improvements to the ECM UDS engine control system include enhanced fault code reading and new measurement selection.
Technical data has also been added for 3D RFI, GTI LE RFI and GTI RFI models.
For the GTX 4-TEC, the update provides wiring diagram configurations, technical information and component location images for the ECM engine control system.
For Yamaha, new software variants cover the braking system and RiDE rear gear control system on JetBlaster Pro, JetBlaster Deluxe, JetBlaster Limited, GP HO and VX-EU models.
Available functions include fault code reading and clearing, system data, activations and braking gate calibration.
